Usama Iftikhar is a legal clerk at RSG Lawyers. He was born in Sydney, raised in Perth and finally settled in Melbourne which he now calls home. Usama completed his Bachelor of Laws at La Trobe University in 2018 and is now focused on completing his Practical Legal Training in order to be admitted to practice as a lawyer.

‘I aspire to be an instrument of goodness in people’s lives. I believe that everyone in their own way should they choose so has an opportunity to make a difference in another person’s life. This may be through their professions as teachers, builders, doctors, as parents taking care of their families, or as simple as passing off a smile to someone who may be going through a rough time. For me studying law was a pathway to reach that goal, to assist another individual in the hope that when I need it someone will be there for me.’
